BSSITM, Lucknow is affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (Formerly UPTU ) and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The college was established in 2010 and offers M.Tech, B.Tech, Diploma Courses in various disciplines of Engineering. Babu Sunder Singh Institute of Technology & Management was founded by Babu Sunder Singh Foundation, a registered society of national repute with an objective to educate the masses in the various fields of Technology, Management, Pharmaceutical Sciences adequately supported by group of multinational companies & modern infrastructure. Mr. Anand Shekhar Singh started his journey with the belief to provide eminence education to young minds in Engineering to convert them into effectual technocrats. He wants them to be ready to combat tough challenges in the competitive world and also substantiate to be a respectable human being.

The Degrees awarded by the BSSITM are recognized by the UGC. Students with UGC recognized degrees are eligible to sit in examinations like GATE, CAT, UPSC, GMAT, GRE, JRF etc.
BSSITM is approved by the AICTE (Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India) in accordance with the guidelines for AKTU Colleges.All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is the statutory Body of the Government of India whose jurisdiction for granting approval is only for technical institutions which are affiliated to a University.

Being graduated from BSSITM gives me immense pleasure and after my graduation I could see lots of changes in infrastructure, especially the teaching methodology department has improved a lot, all the labs have been improved.
BSSITM educates students in a very creative way and encourages them to think out of the box. The staff and teachers are very passionate and show genuine desire to help students to achieve their goals. The college has great modern facilities which promote great learning environment and flexible schedules
